The stats are in: 2011 attack profiles
The Florida Institute of Technology has released their findings from human shark interactions from last year, 2011. The total number of unprovoked attacks went down from 2010, but fatalities from wounds rose. More to follow.

Whale Shark in Pakistan
A whale shark has washed up in Karachi, Pakistan. The shark was sold for about $18,758.
